Peter Carmichael
is a Post-Doc in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
Peter earned his B.S. degree from Trinity University in 1997. He
enrolled in the PhD program at UCSD in 1998. His PhD work
involved subcloning green fluorescent proteins onto protein
kinase A, and then expressing them inside human cancer cells in
order to watch their activity/ location in real time. As a
graduate student, Peter have been working on self assembling
nano- and microscale particles into dynamically complex
structures.
